Refund Policy

Metered billing

Genie is billed like a metered API: charges post for compute actually consumed, as it is consumed. Consumed charges are final — this includes orders that fail, since failed runs still consumed real compute.

No automatic refunds

We do not issue automatic refunds, and there is no refund state machine — the ledger records what happened. If you believe a charge was caused by an operator-side fault, contact the operator; adjustments are made manually at the operator's discretion.

Spend caps

Every order has a spend cap you choose at order time. An order pauses at its cap and resumes only when you top up or raise it. You can stop a running order at any time to halt further charges; charges already consumed stand.

Unused credits

Credits never expire. Unused balance can be cashed out on explicit request — contact the operator from the email associated with your account.
